Baseball Recap: Richmond Hill Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Richmond Hill ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Tift County Blue Devils 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Richmond Hill's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 8-6. As for Tift County, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 11-2 record.

Richmond Hill will have a chance to go back-to-back against Tift County: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
