Soccer Recap: Tipton Drops Highest Score of Season Against Monticello

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tipton). Everything went their way against the Monticello Panthers on Tuesday as they made off with a 12-2 win. Tipton might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by three goals or more this season.

Tipton is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 58 goals over those 11 games. As for Monticello, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Looking ahead, Tipton will venture away from home to square off against Anamosa on Tuesday. Monticello does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
