Basketball Recap: Giselle Feliciano's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Conrad Weiser over Middletown

On Thursday, the Conrad Weiser Scouts lost to the Middletown Blue Raiders on the road by a 47-32 margin. While losing is never fun, the Scouts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while the Blue Raiders are ranked 65th).

Conrad Weiser's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Giselle Feliciano, who posted 16 points. Those 16 points gave Feliciano a new career-high. Geniva Paul was another key player, putting up nine points.

Conrad Weiser's loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Middletown, their win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-3.

As of now, neither Conrad Weiser nor Middletown have any future games scheduled.
