Moundridge barely beat Sedgwick the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats blew past the Cardinals, posting a 38-8 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won four games by 30 points or more so far this season.

The win (which was Moundridge's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.4 points on average over those games. As for Sedgwick, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Moundridge will face off against rival Inman on Friday. Meanwhile, Sedgwick is set to challenge their familiar foe Remington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
