Maple River's last matchup with Waterville-Elysian-Morristown could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Eagles had to suffer through a 36-8 loss at the hands of the Buccaneers. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Paynesville and fell 52-12.
