Soccer Recap: Logan Memorial Education Campus Wins Going Away Against Borrego Springs

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Logan Memorial Education Campus walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Borrego Springs Rams with a sharp 17-2 win on Thursday. It was an even better day for Reyna Guiterrez as she scored six goals for her team.

Logan Memorial Education Campus pushed their record up to 9-14 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those three matchups. As for Borrego Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.

Looking ahead, Logan Memorial Education Campus will host Mountain Empire at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Borrego Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
