            For the second straight game, Cherokee Bluff will face off against West Hall. The Bears will head out on the road to  take on  the Spartans  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Cherokee Bluff is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6  runs per game  this season.
Cherokee Bluff took a loss when they played away from home  on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by  an  11-1 margin over West Hall. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive  win against them.
Cherokee Bluff got a great performance from  Gabe Gowder as he  pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits. Gowder is becoming a predictor of the Bears' success: when he allows at  most one  earned run the team is 7-1 (and 8-9 when he doesn't).

 At the plate, Cherokee Bluff let  Ethan England and  Bryce Fontenot run wild. England  fired off two  home runs and four  RBI while going 2-for-3, while  Fontenot  fired off two  home runs and three  RBI while going 2-for-3. Fontenot also  scored two  runs, which is notable because Cherokee Bluff is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 8-10 otherwise.  Kaden Thompson was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Cherokee Bluff  lost a few balls and  finished the game with five  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've managed all season.
