Soccer Recap: Salinas Has No Trouble Against Alisal

Salinas kept a clean sheet against Alisal on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 5-0 margin over the Alisal Trojans. The Cowboys have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

Salinas hit Alisal with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Delilah Vega-Aguilar (2), Praisia Lowe, Kate Nunes, and Morgan Retterer.

The victory made it two in a row for Salinas and bumps their season record up to 4-1-1. As for Alisal, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salinas will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Everett Alvarez at 5:45 p.m. on January 7, 2025. After both having extra time off, Alisal and Palma will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 11:00 a.m. on January 4, 2025.
