Football Game Preview: Flinthills Mustangs vs. Lyndon Tigers

The Flinthills Mustangs will face off against the Lyndon Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Flinthills is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They really took it to Northern Heights for the full four quarters, racking up a 58-14 victory. With the Mustangs ahead 30-8 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Beau Hall had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 241 yards and five TDs while picking up 13.4 yards per carry. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making eight total tackles and defending two passes in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown. Another back making a difference was Tripp Carney, who rushed for 43 yards and one score.

Meanwhile, Lyndon strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 68-18 win over Chase County. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Tigers had established a 44-point advantage.

Lyndon's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Flinthills, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
