Baseball Game Preview: Tucker Tigers vs. Druid Hills Red Devils

Tucker and Druid Hills are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long. The Tucker Tigers will host the Druid Hills Red Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Tucker has given up an average of 9.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Tucker managed to slip by Druid Hills the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Tucker lost 16-1 to Druid Hills on Wednesday. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Tucker saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blake Samuda, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Those two hits gave Samuda a new career-high.

Druid Hills has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. Tucker's loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
