Tom Bean had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Bosqueville Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Tomcats, who have now won 18 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Donnie Hooten was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Keaton Reed, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Tom Bean's victory bumped their record up to 26-2. As for Bosqueville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 27-9 record this season.

Tom Bean will take on New Home on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tomcats 1.8, the Leopards 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. Bosqueville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
