Wallace also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Chloe Johnson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Hazelwood East's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Normandy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Normandy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .512. However, it's not like Hazelwood East struggles in that department as they've averaged .620. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
