George Walton Academy had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 14-run drubbing they dealt Loganville Christian Academy on Tuesday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Lions. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Brayden Padgett made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Kavin Carter was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Baylor Lowe, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double.

George Walton Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .610. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Loganville Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .348.

George Walton Academy's record now sits at 13-14. As for Loganville Christian Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-9 record.
