Basketball Recap: Pacific Comes Up Short

Pacific was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 49-24 to the San Bernardino Cardinals. The Pirates were down 38-15 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Laniah Porter was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 20 boards for San Bernardino. The dominant performance gave Porter a new career-high in rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ilona Jacques, who went 5 for 8 en route to 11 points.

Pacific's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for San Bernardino, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-9.

As of now, neither Pacific nor San Bernardino have any future games scheduled.
