Lowell had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 65-54 victory over the Liberty Ranch Hawks on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Cardinals, who have now won ten contests in a row.

Haley Smith and Madisyn Robbins certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Smith dropped a double-double with 25 points and 15 boards, while Robbins almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds. Smith's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points.

Lowell's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points over those games. As for Liberty Ranch, their loss ended a 15-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 30-3.

Coming up, Lowell will challenge Castilleja at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Castilleja will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Lowell surely won't give up without a fight. Liberty Ranch does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
