Recap: Parkway Center City Bulldogs vs. Philadelphia Academy Charter Chargers        
        
		
            
 It was a good run, but  the Parkway Center City Bulldogs unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost to Philadelphia Academy Charter on the road  by a decisive  58-42 margin. Parkway Center City was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Philadelphia Academy Charter apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in December of 2022.
 Parkway Center City lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Jessica Canty, who  scored 28 points along with five  steals. The  contest was  Canty's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Seana Barnes, who  scored 12 points along with seven  rebounds and three  blocks.
 Parkway Center City's defeat  ended a three-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 3-1. As for Philadelphia Academy Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
 Parkway Center City will head out on the road to face off against Penn Treaty at 3:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. Penn Treaty will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 328th, while Parkway Center City is ranked 82nd). As for Philadelphia Academy Charter, they will look to defend their home court  on Wednesday against Little Flower Catholic for Girls at 3:30  p.m.
