Softball Recap: Fort Zumwalt South Takes a Loss

Fort Zumwalt South lost against Oak Grove back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs lost 13-3 to the Panthers.

Fort Zumwalt South dropped their record down to 8-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Oak Grove, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fort Zumwalt South will square off against Washington at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oak Grove, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Mid-Buchanan at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Panthers 3.8, the Dragons 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
