Worthington Kilbourne dropped down to 5-2 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost to the Big Walnut Golden Eagles at home by a 35-20 margin. Leading Big Walnut to victory were Nolan Buirley and Eli Stumpf. Buirley rushed for 170 yards and four TDs while picking up 10.6 yards per carry, while Stumpf rushed for 95 yards on only five carries.
Coming up, Worthington Kilbourne will challenge KIPP Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves will be up against the Jaguars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
