Softball Recap: Cheyenne/Reydon Comes Up Short

Cheyenne/Reydon fell victim to Merritt and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 7-0 to the Oilers. The loss continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Oilers: they've now lost six in a row.

Cheyenne/Reydon saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cambree McGlothlin, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Cheyenne/Reydon's defeat dropped their record down to 19-12-1. As for Merritt, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.

Cheyenne/Reydon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-3 victory against Clinton on the 23rd. Merritt does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
