Softball Recap: Adams City Eagles vs. Aurora Central Trojans
Adams City had lost four straight, but after bumping their record up to 2-8 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Aurora Central Trojans as they made off with a 22-2 victory. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Giannah Chavez was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Chavez was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
