Baseball Game Preview: Southwest Georgia STEM Charter Aggies vs. Terrell County Greenwave

Southwest Georgia STEM Charter hasn't had much luck against Terrell County recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Aggies will take on the Greenwave at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Southwest Georgia STEM Charter played against Stewart County on Friday and won via forfeit.

Terrell County is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Mitchell County 22-14 on Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Greenwave with their most commanding win of the season.

Terrell County got a massive performance out of Corderell Small, who scored four runs and stole six bases while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave Small a new career-high in hits (two). Dominique Polite was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing five bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.

Terrell County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Terrell County's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-12. As for Southwest Georgia STEM Charter, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-11.
