Soccer Recap: Evans Comes Up Short

Evans and Rome squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Evans had to settle for second. They came up short against Wolves, falling 4-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Evans couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Jad Aljawhary, which was the first he's scored this season.

Evans is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-5. As for Rome, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3.

Evans does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rome, they will face off against Jackson County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Jackson County will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Rome surely won't give up without a fight.
