Basketball Recap: Laguna Beach Piles Up the Points Against Desert Chapel

Laguna Beach meant business on Saturday, getting buckets from all over the court against a Eagles squad that has allowed just 29.91 points per contest. The Laguna Beach Breakers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Desert Chapel Eagles 65-10. The Breakers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 23 points or more this season.

Fiona McCormick continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 26 points. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game. Lilly Alvarado was another key player, posting 12 points.

Laguna Beach is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Desert Chapel, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
