Basketball Game Preview: Chowchilla Tribe vs. Washington Union Panthers

Chowchilla is 2-8 against Washington Union since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Chowchilla Tribe will be taking part in a tournament against the Washington Union Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Washington Union took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Chowchilla, who comes in off a win.

Chowchilla is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Avenal to the tune of 56-11 on Tuesday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-2.

Meanwhile, Washington Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 44-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sanger West.

Washington Union's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Chowchilla, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Chowchilla didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Washington Union when the teams last played last Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 37-33 victory.
