Softball Recap: Central Lee Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven

Central Lee owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Danville Bears by a score of 3-0. This was a revenge game for the Hawks: when they faced off against the Bears two weeks ago, they had to take a 9-7 loss.

Central Lee's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-7. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.1 runs over those games. As for Danville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season.

Central Lee will venture away from home to face off against Keokuk at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hawks are facing the Chiefs at the right time seeing as the Chiefs are stuck on a six-game losing streak. Danville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
