Davis won against Pauls Valley on Monday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Wolves narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Little Axe Indians 6-4. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Davis' victory bumped their record up to 16-14-2. As for Little Axe, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

Davis has already played their next game, a 10-0 loss against Bethel on the 2nd. Hopefully Little Axe paid attention to the Wolves' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wolves on Friday.
