After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Arcanum, Mississinawa Valley was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Union City Indians 3-0. The Blackhawks haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Mississinawa Valley was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-3, 25-15.

Their offense was headlined by Cora Hoggatt and Makenna Hoggatt, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Danika Neargarder and her 33 assists. Allyson Waymire controlled things from the service line, finishing with ten aces.

Mississinawa Valley's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Union City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Looking ahead, Mississinawa Valley will host Twin Valley South at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Union City, they will head out on the road to challenge Hagerstown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
