Soccer Recap: Johnson Comes Up Short

Johnson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-0 to the West Campus Warriors. While losing is never fun, Johnson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1129th, while West Campus is ranked 498th).

Johnson's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for West Campus, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-1-3 record this season.

Johnson didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-0 defeat against Burbank on the 23rd. West Campus has also already played their next game, a 6-0 victory against Florin on the 23rd.
