Softball Recap: Seward Takes a Loss

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Seward was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They came up short against the Waverly Vikings, falling 10-2. If the Bluejays were looking for revenge after losing 15-10 to the Vikings when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Seward saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Stutzman, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Seward's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Waverly, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 16-10 record.

Seward has already played their next contest (against Aurora), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Waverly, they will challenge Hastings at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
