Homestead won the last time they faced Hartford and things went their way on Saturday too. The Highlanders came out on top against the Orioles by a score of 2-0. That two set margin sets a new team best for the Highlanders this season.

Nyla Steltz paced Homestead's offense, picking up eight kills. Steltz got some help from Anya Mikhailenko and her 25 assists. Steltz and Mikhailenko didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.

Hartford lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kora Kirsch, who had ten digs and two assists.

Homestead's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Hartford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.

Coincidentally, Homestead and Hartford will both be playing Germantown the next time they take the court. The Highlanders will head out to face the Warhawks at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Orioles will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
