Soccer Recap: Lynbrook Comes Up Short

Lynbrook managed to keep up with Fremont until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Lynbrook Vikings lost 6-1 to the Fremont Firebirds. That's two games in a row now that the Vikings have lost by exactly five goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Isha Mani, who's now up to six this season.

Lynbrook has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5-2 record this season. As for Fremont, they pushed their record up to 7-2-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Lynbrook didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-0 defeat against San Mateo on the 18th. Fremont has also already played their next game, a 5-0 win against MacDonald on the 21st.
