The Harrison Raiders will venture away from home to face off against the Benton Central Bison at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harrison is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

Harrison is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Homestead just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-1.

Colton Blackwell was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over 5.1 innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Harrison saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendrick Pena, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 13 runs the game before, Benton Central was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell 4-1 to Hamilton Heights.

Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Benton Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-15.

Harrison's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's game. The Raiders have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.6 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Benton Central, though, as they've been averaging only 0.8 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Harrison continue to outrun the ball?

Everything went Harrison's way against Benton Central in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Harrison made off with an 18-8 win. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bison turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
