After losing to San Dieguito Academy the last time they met, Vista decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Vista Panthers walked away with a 47-39 victory over the San Dieguito Academy Mustangs on Wednesday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Vista to victory, but perhaps none more so than Isabella Mosley, who posted 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists. Another player making a difference was Ava Gonzalez, who en route to 11 points and four steals.

Despite the loss, San Dieguito Academy had strong showings from Romy Malmquist, who scored 17 points and four steals, and Lillian Malewicz, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine boards. Malmquist continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Vista's win bumped their record up to 9-16. As for San Dieguito Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.

Vista has already played their next matchup, a 65-32 victory against Canyon Crest Academy on the 14th. As for San Dieguito Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 44-34 win against El Camino on the 14th.
