Soccer Recap: Lynbrook Comes Up Short

Lynbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Monta Vista Matadors, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Lynbrook can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 851st, while Monta Vista are ranked 297th).

Lynbrook's goal came courtesy of Trina Somadder, which was the first she's scored this season.

Lynbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Monta Vista, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0-2.

Lynbrook wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 9-0 loss against Gunn on the 16th. As for Monta Vista, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-1 victory against Wilcox on the 16th.
