Preview: California Lutheran C-Hawks vs. Hamilton Bobcats

California Lutheran is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Hamilton is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The California Lutheran C-Hawks will take on the Hamilton Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams have allowed few points on average, (California Lutheran: 25.1, Hamilton: 24.2) so any points scored will be well earned.

In what's become a running theme this season, California Lutheran gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat California School for the Deaf-Riverside 63-31 at home. 63 seems to be a good number for California Lutheran as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

California Lutheran's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kiera Schroeder, who scored 31 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. That makes it five consecutive games in which Schroeder has scored at least a third of California Lutheran's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Allison Schroeder, who scored 15 points along with two steals and two blocks.

Meanwhile, Hamilton strolled past Bethel Christian with points to spare last Wednesday, taking the game 42-28.

California Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Hamilton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

Everything came up roses for California Lutheran against Hamilton in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 57-16 win. Does California Lutheran have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hamilton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
