California Lutheran skates past La Sierra Academy with ease

The California Lutheran C-Hawks can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat La Sierra Academy 63-11 at home. California Lutheran's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Kiera Schroeder continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of California Lutheran's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Ash, who scored 12 points.

California Lutheran's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points per game. As for La Sierra Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

California Lutheran won't have much time to rest: their next match is against California School for the Deaf-Riverside at 5:00 p.m. on January 17th. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (California School for the Deaf-Riverside: 29.4, California Lutheran: 24.7) so any points scored will be well earned. As for La Sierra Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Hamilton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hamilton is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
