The Redondo Union Sea Hawks are taking a road trip to challenge the Mira Costa Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Redondo Union is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Redondo Union is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of California's top teams: Palos Verdes, who was ranked 12th at the time (Redondo Union was ranked third). Everything went Redondo Union's way against Palos Verdes on Friday as Redondo Union made off with a 4-1 victory. Considering the Sea Hawks have won six matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Mira Costa made sure to put some goals up on the board against Torrance on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Tartars a 4-0 shutout. Considering the Mustangs' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Redondo Union's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 39 goals over those eight contests. As for Mira Costa, the victory got them back to even at 6-6-4.

Redondo Union took their win against Mira Costa when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 5-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Redondo Union since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
