Basketball Game Preview: International School of Los Angeles Lions vs. Le Lycee Lions

International School of Los Angeles is 1-6 against Le Lycee since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The International School of Los Angeles Lions will look to defend their home court against the Le Lycee Lions at 4:00 p.m.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 48-17, which was the final score in International School of Los Angeles' tilt against Holy Martyrs Armenian last Monday. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 960th, while the Armens are ranked 379th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Le Lycee). They snuck past Buckley with a 37-33 victory on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

International School of Los Angeles' loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Le Lycee, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6.

Things could have been worse for International School of Los Angeles, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 35-18 loss to Le Lycee in their previous meeting back in December of 2023.
