Baseball Recap: Mt. Zion Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Mt. Zion's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Wadley Bulldogs as the Mt. Zion Eagles made off with a 13-2 win. Considering the Eagles have won three games by more than ten runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Mt. Zion's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6. As for Wadley, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Mt. Zion will host Wadley at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Wadley, they will head out to face off against Horseshoe Bend at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
