Softball Recap: Valley Park Takes a Loss

Valley Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to the North Callaway Thunderbirds.

Valley Park saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alivia Robison, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Valley Park's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for North Callaway, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season.

Valley Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Callaway, they will square off against Montgomery County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Thunderbirds' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season.
