Baseball Recap: Dwight Comes Up Short

Dwight couldn't beat Streator on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Trojans fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Trojans have suffered since March 23rd.

This is the second loss in a row for Dwight and nudges their season record down to 20-12. As for Streator, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-19-1.

Dwight does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Streator, they will venture away from home to square off against Joliet Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
