Baseball Recap: Kettering Comes Up Short

Kettering was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Walled Lake Western Warriors. That's two games in a row now that the Captains have lost by exactly three runs.

Kettering's loss dropped their record down to 5-18-1. As for Walled Lake Western, they moved to 12-21 with that victory, which also ended their nine-game losing streak.

Coming up, Kettering will face off against Bloomfield Hills at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Walled Lake Western, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Groves at 4:30 p.m. on June 10.
