Baseball Recap: Patrick Henry Takes a Loss

If Patrick Henry was feeling good fresh off their 14-3 takedown of Fleming on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Patriots came up short against the Pulaski County Cougars on Tuesday, falling 9-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-3 two weeks ago.

Jaelyn Mabry was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Patrick Henry dropped their record down to 3-18 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Pulaski County, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-10 record.

Patrick Henry does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pulaski County, they will welcome Carroll County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
