With a playoff win on the line, Portola rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They managed a 66-62 victory over the Buena Park Coyotes. The win was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on six straight.

That was a full 51.6% of Buena Park's points, marking the eighth time in a row Barrera has posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mya Barnes, who on her way to 14 points in addition to seven boards and six assists.
Portola's victory bumped their record up to 17-14. As for Buena Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-7.
Portola didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-23 loss against Oak Park on the 22nd. Buena Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
