Football Game Preview: Osseo Orioles vs. Andover Huskies + Official Tickets

The Osseo Orioles will face off against the Andover Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Things were looking good for Osseo after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They lost to Blaine at home by a 31-14 margin. The Orioles were up 14-0 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Meanwhile, Andover waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They had just enough and edged out the Royals 34-31. Given the Huskies' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Royals are ranked 155th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Andover's win came from a few key players Osseo will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Collin Gravink, who rushed for 88 yards and one score, and also caught one TD. Another player making a difference was Aidan Wiegert, who picked up 183 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Andover's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Osseo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Osseo beat Andover 34-26 in their previous matchup back in September of 2016. Do the Orioles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Huskies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
