Basketball Recap: Redlands' Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Redlands pushed their score to 57 the last time they played Jurupa Hills, but on Friday they couldn't quite do it again. The Redlands Terriers managed a 26-21 victory over the Jurupa Hills Spartans. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Terriers as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Redlands' victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Jurupa Hills, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Redlands will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Rim of the World at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Redlands is facing Rim of the World at the right time seeing as Rim of the World is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Jurupa Hills, they will take on San Jacinto in a tournament on Thursday. Jurupa Hills will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: San Jacinto will have lost three straight heading into Thursday's contest.
