Bay Area Christian wins going away against John Paul II

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Bay Area Christian Broncos had no problem doing just that on Friday. They strolled past John Paul II with points to spare, taking the game 64-46. The victory was just what Bay Area Christian needed coming off of a 50-7 loss in their prior matchup.

Despite the loss, John Paul II still got an impressive performance from Evan Carrosquilla, who rushed for 127 yards and five touchdowns on only 14 carries. Another player making a difference was Tayler Rammel, who picked up 172 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Bay Area Christian now has a winning record of 6-5. As for John Paul II, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Bay Area Christian will head out on the road to face off against Holy Cross at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Holy Cross is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games. John Paul II does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
