Softball Recap: Cameron Comes Up Short

Cameron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lexington Minutemen. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Dragons have suffered since August 30th.

Cameron now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Lexington, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Looking ahead, Cameron will face off against Marshall at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lexington, they will challenge Lafayette County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
