Northgate waltzed into their game on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Villa Rica Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Vikings have posted since September 3rd.

Ella Coburn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on seven hits and racked up 12 Ks.

At the plate, Northgate saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trinity Hargrett, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Northgate's victory bumped their record up to 25-7. As for Villa Rica, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-12 record this season.
