Baseball Game Preview: Foxborough Warriors vs. Seekonk Warriors

Foxborough will take on Seekonk at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.

Foxborough is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest defeat since March 25th on Wednesday. They came up short against North Attleborough, falling 13-7. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Seekonk got themselves on the board against Dighton-Rehoboth Regional on Wednesday, but Dighton-Rehoboth Regional never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Warriors have posted against the Falcons since May 2, 2024.

Not much got past Cole Arruda, who gave up just a hit and racked up 13 Ks to keep Dighton-Rehoboth Regional off the board.

At the plate, Austin Robinson was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Brayden McBride was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four RBI.

Seekonk was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive contests.

Foxborough's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Seekonk, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.
